Ok, so you’re probably going to have some time to watch Netflix... as lots of us have been told to stay home or self-isolate.

Now, instead of binge-watching reality TV or something without any real-world meaning, we thought we’d help you with some recommendations that can keep your mind stimulated and possibly learn some new things! Nothin' better.

What to watch on Netflix right now.

In no particular order, we detail our staff picks below.

Recommendation 1: Redeemed and the Dominant

Questions about endurance, doping and overall toughness surround a group of elite athletes as they take part in gruelling tests over an intense four day period to compete at the Crossfit Games.

As non-cross fit competitors we found this so interesting to watch, an inspiring and exciting sporting documentary that is worth the watch.

Recommendation 2: The Game Changes

Meeting visionary scientists and top athletes, a UFC fighter embarks on a quest to find the optimal diet for human performance and health.

We have mixed eaters here at Pursue and found this health documentary very controversial but interesting on a number of levels.

Recommendation 3: Explained

The show's episodes average between 16 - 18 minutes, with each focusing on a different topic. Each episode is also voiced by a different guest narrator. With 2 seasons there is a lot to watch, from talking about Billionaires, The Next Pandemic, The World’s Water Crisis to Can We Live Forever... there is so much to listen to and learn about.

A number of these will catch your eye. They're short, informative and feature amazing visuals throughout.

Recommendation 4: Tony Robbins I am Not Your Guru

Tony Robbins’ clients swear by his unorthodox life coaching methods. A revealing documentary film, for the first time ever, goes behind the curtain at his annual mega-event 'Date With Destiny'.

Directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Joe Berlinger. Tony is captivating and inspiring. Watching this, we believe, is time well-invested.

Recommendation 5: After Life

Tony’s life is turned upside down after his wife dies from breast cancer. He contemplates suicide, but instead decides to live long enough to punish the world for his wife's death by saying and doing whatever he wants.

Produced, written and acted by award-winning comedian Ricky Gervias, we are in no doubt this TV series will be a favourite of yours.

The only downside is that you can't carry on watching it.

Recommendation 6: The Dawn Wall

Cameras follow Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson as they take on the staggering challenge of free-climbing Yosemite’s most formidable rock formation.

This is Caldwell's way of dealing with heartbreak; he takes on a challenge that has never been done before by anyone (ever).

This really opens your eyes to the world of rock climbing. The incredible strength and determination of Caldwell will undoubtedly leave you both intrigued and inspired.

Stay home. Stay safe. Have fun.

Ps. We're not suggesting you sit around and watch TV all day - that's the worst thing you could do. However, it's always good to watch something that means something and ignore the things that mean nothing.

Do you have the paradox of choice? If you're trying to pick one to watch we'd suggest After Life if you're looking for a short TV series or The Dawn Wall if you're looking for an inspiring documentary.
